I am extremely disappointed in Mike Rowe about putting up with this bullsht. You know what brought about this? Companies taking advantage of workers, like Uber and DoorDash. You know they control almost all of my abilities, I don’t consider that an independent contractor, they control all of my actions and they’ve been taking advantage of people for a really long time. For example, I had an order at Chipotle and it took 40 minutes, plus driving another 20. I took an hour on one order, they won’t tell me the pay upfront, maybe it’s $4 and maybe it’s $20, guess what it was? $4 and if I unmatch the order, I get penalized. People are literally picking up peoples orders for $2.50-3 and DoorDash and other really rich investors are pocketing tons of money while they cheat their “contractors”. I once got suspended by Uber, just a short time, but because someone made a false claim and I had zero control or recourse other than to wait, Uber didn’t care because they side with the customer most of the time. Stop simping for corporations and billionaires. I’m literally a lifetime republican that listened to rush limbaugh as a kid and voted Trump and I see straight through these arguements. Trickle down economics doesn’t work and we have to stop acting like America is just the land of opportunity that it once was, the rich has turned us into serfs.

Everyone is speaking about her being controversial. There is nothing controversial about title 9, about men competing against women and now girls in sports. In women and girls change room? C’mon my friends, you know this is not right. Why is an all American 24 year old woman athlete the only sane individual speaking about this? It is your right as an adult to be who you want to be. Got it, don’t care, It is not your right to compete against women in university NCAA competitions or invade their personal privacy rights as a biological man. It just isn’t. People wake up. Riley, congratulations on your athletic successes and leadership. I have two kids around your age and am in awe of your bravery and ability to articulate the state of this situation. Please know I am a supporter and will support your endeavours any way I can.

I have to thank you for having a wonderful show that is consistently truthful. I have been dealing with breast cancer and hopefully my treatments end soon and I am cancer free. But having all the treatments from chemo, surgery and radiation really take a toll on you and zaps you of any energy. My friend was a prolific writer. She wrote every day for many hours, whether she felt like it or not. She told me it was the most important part of being a writer. A fascinating thing was, her papers were tucked away in places all over her house, You could open a kitchen drawer for a fork and find sheets of paper with full stories on them. I mean everywhere, loose papers in bathroom cabinets or under the couch cushions. I think she liked finding them again and having people find them. It was great fun to find them while doing something mundane, next thing you know, you are immersed in some incredible tale, or something about history, or current events, and she would talk about them in depth. She lived near Roanoke Is. It will be a chapter in my memoir
